Greetings from ANHA...


Shoodaachiia Apsaalooke!

My Crow Name is “One who Likes attend Tobacco Society Dances” given to me by my Grandfather Hugh Little Owl.
I am a member of the Big Horn District, Ties the Bundle Clan and a child of the Piegan clan.  
It’s a huge honor and privilege to serve the Great Apsaalooke Nation as the Cabinet Head for
Residential and Renovation. I oversee the Apsaalooke Nation Housing Authority (ANHA), Home Improvement Program and Good Earth Lodges consisting of about 70 employees.
My background consist of a bachelors degree in Business Management from Mount St. Mary
University and prior to my appointment I served on the Executive Board of Directors and Administration for St. Labre Indian School.

One of Chairman Old Coyotes initiatives is to increase the number of homes on the reservation due to amount of multiply families living in one house and
to also improve the living conditions of our elders.  These two initiatives have been my priorities and through strategic planning and fundraising, my goal is to achieve these initiatives.
My managers are: John Old Elk, ANHA COO; Grace Morrison, ANHA HR Manager, ANHA Construction Manager, Andre LaFrance, ANHA ROP Supervisor, Victor Nomee;
HIP Director, Greg Hogan;  and Good Earth Lodges Project Manager William ‘Bob’ Howe.

Greetings...


Hello Apsaalooke people,
      My name is Clarice Denny, the newly appointed Cabinet Head for the Department of Human Resources of the Great Apsaalooke Nation. I am very pleased to join the “Positive Change Team,” and work for the Old Coyote administration.  Aho! I am a member of the bad war deeds and a child of the sore lip clan.
      My staff is very efficient and consists of Laura Real Bird, who is our personnel director, Berna Dawes our office manager. A team of hard working clerks, Rosie Other Medicine, Jeanne Whiteman, Rebecca McDonald and Shelly Young Running Crane. As well as Reah and Leah Dust who are our filing clerks and receptionists Geri Little Light and Raydawn Jefferson.

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE



Crow Tribe of Indians will hold a public meeting on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Meeting Room of the Multipurpose Building located at 9882 South Heritage Road in Crow Agency for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding the Crow Tribe’s overall community development, public facilities, economic development, and housing needs, including the needs of low and moderate income persons. The Crow Tribe will also seek the views of citizens on the activities that should be undertaken to meet the identified needs and their relative priority. The Crow Tribe may apply for funding from the Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) Program to deal with local public facilities, housing, or other needs and would like comments or suggestions from local citizens regarding the Crow Tribe’s needs and the type of projects which should be considered. Anyone who would like more information or who wants to submit suggestions should contact Ms. Frances Pretty Paint, Director of Grants and Contracts, at 406-638-3776.

Veteran Outreach is to let you know about the upcoming Veteran Opportunities that will take place in our area. The Vet Center Van is a unique outreach vehicle designed to provide services to veterans in their local community. The Vet Center Van is staffed with a variety of service providers to include the Vet Center's Questions, PTSD counselor, Veterans Employment Specialist, and may include additional staff from the Montana Veterans Affairs (Benefits) and other veteran service providers.)
Crow Tribal Veterans Affairs Programs (CTVAP) needs of ALL Veterans Information old and new for our roster. Please Notify ALL Veteran Spouses and family members to come meet the Staff of CTVAP. Have a Great Day!!
